How to Create a Photo Book using BAP !t (Quick Start Guide)

1. Double-click the BAP !t Photo Books desktop shortcut icon.

 
2. A Welcome dialog will come up. Click Create New Book as shown.
 
3. Now, choose a size for your Photo Book (12x12 square, 11x8.5 portrait, 8.5x11 landscape, 8x8 square, and 5.5x8.5 landscape) and the desired cover.  The cover options include a custom hardcover or softcover (designed by you using your photos and our software) and the keyhole covers which are hardcovers made from a variety of materials and colors that include a cutout in the center of the front cover that is approximately 4 inches wide and 4 inches high.
 
4. You should now see the Photo Book workspace as shown below:
 
 
 
       
5. Use the Image Browser at the bottom of the workspace to load photos to use for your Photo Book. To do so take the following steps:
  • Click the Add Image or Add Folder with Images icon at the left of the Image Browser. You can then drag & drop photos directly from the Image Browser and onto your Photo Book pages.
     
  • If you are using layouts or templates, you can use the Distribute Pictures command (under the Layout menu) to automatically distribute your pictures amongst the pages.
     
6. Toggle between the various page display options seen as tabs on the Image Browser:
  • Book Pictures – pictures that you have added for use in your Photo Book as described above in paragraph 4.
     
  • Page Layouts – preset arrangements of picture-ready picture frames. Once applied to a page, you can still rearrange the layout elements any way you choose.
     
  • Page Backgrounds – various colors, textures, and designs you can apply to your pages.
     
  • Picture Borders – borders of various color and thickness you can apply to pictures.
     

           NOTE: : All the above items can be dragged & dropped directly onto the page (or picture frame).
     
  • Templates – themes that can be applied to your entire Photo Book. Once applied to a page, you can still rearrange the template elements any way you choose using the edit tools.
7. To navigate the pages of your Photo Book, click the desired page in the Pages Browser. You can also navigate using the navigation arrows located on the toolbar as shown (in order: to first page, back, forward, to last page.
 
 
8. When you’re done designing your Photo Book, click the Send To BAP !t  button to upload your project to our production facilities.
